Today in CA, a young man who friends and family assure us was "Jus such a good boy, on his way to da boys and gurls club" a place where inner city youths can find respite from poor living conditions; was run over in the street in front of a local starbucks. Residents of the area say that the coffee shop is a 'high traffic area' and is very commonly frequented by the local authorities. In fact, when this poor young man was run down, a total of 9 patrol units were standing nearby. None of these "men" helped direct the boy to the nearby crosswalk, where he could have had traffic stopped. They were too busy to help, Latayshawn Marcus, and now a young man has lost his life. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Marcus family as they prepare a civil suit against each of the negligent officers on the scene that fateful day.
