look idk wtf that dude did or didnt do, but ive personally been shot at by cops simply for existing in a vehicle so it really couldve just been a scared cop. a lot of them are just terrified all the time.
and before someone is like "you probably deserved it" id be a felon or something had i actually done something, instead they let me go without even detaining me because they knew they fucked up. dude shot once through the windshield and was immediately berated by his supervisor.
i was pulled over because my car looked like a armed robbers, the car wasnt even the same color i found out later.

You'd be definitely not set free and have to take statements ect then he'd be sent to BLET training courses again and or lose his job for a while unless reinstated earlier. No need to lie bud!
