My friend was getting a ColecoVision for Christmas. He found it in his parent's gift stash and we snuck it out and played it when his parents were at work. Then he got caught with it and received no ColecoVision for Christmas that year.

In my country, a classroom with children is never left without an adult present. If the teacher goes to bathroom, she calls the school inspector to watch the children. Never kids alone.
I have very good memories of kindergarten. Zero violence
