Hoping, I wasn't hoping for anything, I certainly don't believe this wasn't somehow caused intentionally. I used to live in Vegas, I don't recall any major wind when I was there, where I live now, we have had some unusually severe wind this past year (I mean freaking crazy wind), still no power poles fell, nor losses of power. Trees generally fall before power poles?

I don't like the round cut calamari. I like to take the time to chiffonade the body into nice thin strips, soak em in buttermilk, dust em in the flour and then drop em into the deep fryer until they get nice and golden brown. Keep em separated as best you can as they cook.
