Cargo 7/10 Really enjoyed this Netflix movie every other Australian zombie film I've seen has been half comedy and the Aussies do that well,there is some humour in here but it's not done in a way to make you lol it just sort of adds a sadness to the story,eg little Abo girl draws a TVs on a rock complete with stone remote control and the drawings of her family as zombies,the story is a man,Martin Freeman who I don't really like but he is good in this has been bitten and has 24 hours to get his baby daughter to some sort of safety before he turns. It's a different zombie movie which seems to be a trend just now and if you can give it a try you may just enjoy this one.

Anuvahood 4/10. Low budget Brit film about and aspiring rapper on a chav council housing estate. Was worth watching for me i sopose just to listen to the words young black youths use nowadays such as "P" which means money lol

Death Wish Oh Dear Oh Dear Oh Dear /10 I was lucky enough to get to see the original in the cinema in 74 had to ask a couple of older kids to get us our tickets the movie was hard and shocking the rape and murder scene long and violent,never saw that scene like that on tv or anywhere else,gang rape and carving nazi symbols on the women's buttocks as they tied to crawl away,the daughter was so traumatised she was left mute,this was the motivation for Kersey's revenge it's why he went on the one man crusade. So when this new remake with Bruce Willis came up in cam I did some research and fuck me 10 out of 10 reviews everywhere Willis returns to form movie of the year etc etc bullshit it's as bad if not worse than his last 4 flops,and the rape scene the motivation ? It just doesn't happen the entire scene is shot in the dark and basically a couple of gunshots and it cut to the ER room where Kersey works. The rest just plays out like any other movie you have seen that involves retribution,Charlie Bronson must be spinning in his grave the poor fucker.

The Quiet Place 6/10 Different kind of movie had its moments was worth the watch,expected it to be much better but I'm a cynical old cunt.

Solo: A Star Wars Story 7/10. Better than the critics are making it out to be. The least Star Wars like movie outta all the Star Wars movies to date. Even if you don't care for Star Wars type movies, yet like action movies,you may like this. I liked it more than "The Last Jedi" and would have given it an 8/10 if it wasn't for the totally unnecessary #metoo movement android in the movie.

Tomb Raider 7/10 I thought a solid 7 but others may not just because it's not even a sister of the Original,but even though it loses a bit of pace and feel in the first 30 mins it picks up nicely,enough action to keep you interested once it gets going I enjoyed this one.

Black Water eeeeerm 3 no 2 eeeerm oh I dunno/10 So JCVD is going about his secret agent type business with a look of I don't want to be here on his face that lasts the entire movie,his female adversary yes adversary just happens to be less than half his age and drop dead gorgeous,they decide to work together and end up shagging the night away like you do,she then gets shot and killed ....... Or does she....... Anyone shouting spoiler can fuck off it's impossible to spoil this shit,anyway Mr I Don't Wanne Be Here gets captured and wakes up in a shipping container that's done out to represent a modern nuclear submarine,but no I'm wrong we keep seeing a stock outside shot of said modern submarine swishing through the ocean so it must be real. Well old JCVD or MIDWBH is pretty much fucked now if only he had a guy oh I don't know a big guy with special forces training in the next cell eeeerm shipping container who could help him,cut to Dolph,Dolph smiles constantly and reads books,it's like they said look Dolph this cunt over there doesn't look like he even wants to be here can you look really happy ? Dolph must have said nooooo problem,I'll will leave this there I think you get the picture but one last point,the bridge on this modern nuclear top secret US government submarine has a captain,a black guy,a chinky who keeps looking at the black guy in a WTF do I do kinda way,a digital display reading depth and distance from shore and a telephone with a cord,I think there may have been a Perspex sheet with some white board marker on it too but no visible sign of how to make the sub go up down starboard port fast slow or fuck all,I was gobsmacked but hey I watched it.
