movies Last Movie You Watched..

Audition Japan. 1999. 10/10
A superb drama/thriller that unravels like a slow ball of twine. The main character gets involved with a mystery woman via an audition for a fake movie. That last 30mins was when the horror part of things kicked in, but it was restrained and still keeps the viewer guessing.

The Seventh Seal. 1958. Ingmar Bergman.
10/10
A man seeks answers about life, death, and the existence of God as he plays chess against Death during the black plague.
No action what so ever, just alot a talking. A classic film, i watched it years ago and like it. It still held my interest right up to the end.

The Outlaws. 2017. South Korea. 6/10
A 'based on...' crime bust in 2004. Complicated but a good crime drama, stars the 'dad-to-be' actor from Train to Busan as a tough cop.
After i'd lost track of some plot threads, I was still entertained by the two main characters to continue.
The fight scenes were well done.

Eraserhead. 1977.
8/10
David Lynch is a director whose T.V./films iv largely ignored. Eraserhead iv watched twice now, fine piece of 'endurance' cinema. To try and think about the 'plot' of the movie is to remember what largely went over my head and served only to confuse me, i recognise elements of plot, but are just enjoying the ride with a strong coffee to stay awake.

Funny Cow 7/10 Story of a northern comedienne trying to make it as a stand up in the pubs and clubs of Sheffield Barnsley and Doncaster in the 70’s,it’s as gritty as a gob full of sand and as northern as me,the movie is maybe an acquired taste but I liked it. Quite a bit of it was filmed in my city it was interesting seeing places I know so well with 40 year old cars parked outside.

The girl with all the gifts. 6/10. A zombie type film that was a bit different. Some dodgey cringe worthy parts towards the end though.
Thanks for the heads up on funny cow Humungus will watch it tonight. Realy appreciate your comments on the films you watch just wish others could do the same. Here is the trailer for the girl with all the gifts.

Alucarda. Mexico. 1977.
8/10
Only recently heard about this movie, two young girls get possessed in a convent. 70 mins in total. The nuns/priests are pious and the demons/witches are debauched. Kinda has a Hammer look to it, but takes itself seriously.
A film ill be keeping and rewatching
Trailer.

Full movie.

Sharknado 5 Maybe 2/10 maybe 10/10 It all depends on what mood your in,the movie makes no sense at all but this is Sharknado time travelling all over the place we have sharks with dinosaurs and sharks in the future with a planet of Tara’s,so many in jokes and cameos you can’t keep up with them,Dee Shnider as the cowboy lawman was my fave. What can I say give it a go I was on the point of turning off many times but glad I stuck with it. Drink and drugs may help.
