movies Last Movie You Watched..

Lemmy. 9/10.

Best line: you can't have everything, where'd you put it?

V season 2. The writing was good, although somewhat erratic at times. Too bad a 3rd season won't happen. The last 5 minutes really made way for a 3rd season.

Also, Savages. Really good.

Ju-on

The original nipon version of the grudge.

Thegrudge used the same set..just added round eyes

That one comes on tv every once in a while. I've never seen it and I don't even won't to.
It was on T.V yesterday evening and I lost interest after 15 minutes, why do American movies of that genre almost always have to have a fucking feel good ending? :rambo:

Because Hollywod doesn't believe in creativity anymore. It's all shit nowadays.

"Blackhawk Down" on the other hand was fantastic, coincidentally directed by a Brit.

Black Hawk Down was really good. I try to catch it every time it's on tv. It's usually shown on FX. I like all these war movies that are set in the 90s or later, and any Vietnam-era movies.

I am a fan of war movies myself, for me the best of the best is "Apocalypse Now", it's not really action packed but it's a mood driven film it's seriously atmospheric.

Apocalypse Now is truly great. I like how slow-paced it is. It takes forever for Brando to show up but once he does, the wait is so worth it. I love the idea of an "insane" Col. going rogue from the Army and just doing his own thing. Kurtz became sort of a cult leader. You know the part where they kill the cow? Was that real? I've always wondered about that. I think its probably real because they didn't have CGI back then. It looks real as hell to me. What do you think?
