Boss nigger. 1974.
Blazing saddles copy with the humourous plot.
Two black bounty hunters become sherrif and deputy of a town while hunting a outlaw. The racist people have no choice but to get used to them.
Kinda funny for the forty mins after that formulaic and predictable. Had the same idea as Blazing Saddles but way less humour.

There's more than 1 version of blazing saddles?

Started this series last night really good so far. Based on a Stephen King book lets see how bad he kills the ending
This has loads of well known actors in this! Director Krennic, the Ozarks chap and the British dude who was in Bourne briefly. He's in a film where his handicapped brother is drugged and bullied till he kills himself when he's away in the army so he comes back and kills them all. Dead man's shoes! That's it.
Director Krennic is brilliant. He plays a junky very well too.
Hbo must have some money to get all these together

There's more than 1 version of blazing saddles?
No, this one was just a version of it with a lot less humour and the same plot details.

Shutter Island. 2010.
6/10
A cop goes to a island with a mental asylum to find a escaped patient.
Interesting thriller that is colourful and loaded with plot. By about the hour mark it became kinda apparent that the cop was getting a little tooo invovled in the place. From there it was only a matter of time and pushing the FF button a few times to see the 'twist' at the end in the last 20mins.

Dumplings. 2004. China. (Extended version).
8/10
First one in the three film set "Three Extremes." A aging woman wants to regain her youth so she get the services of a woman who makes a special dumpling.
Just as good as the shorter one, with only a few things added. Interesting film about the lengths people will go to.

The Cremator. (Spalovac mrtvo) Czechoslovakia. 1969.
7/10
A worker at a funeral parlor who runs the furnace that burns up the corpses gets involved with the Nazi party.
Black comedy about a bloke who believes very much in the tibetian idea that by burning a corpse the 'soul' is freed. The focus is the main character who has most of the dialouge and his gradual mental decline as he becomes more involved with the nazi party. The way it was filmed adds to sense that we are viewing events thru his mind which fits with the bizzare imagery and chaotic ending.

a documentary titled 'Mole Man.
Ron Heist a 66 year old autistic man living in a hand built nail free multi room complex in the back of his parents property.
There's no trailer other than the one from American pickers which I care not to post.
It's a Sundance production, and a good watch.

Major Grom: Plague doctor. 2021. Russia.
8/10
Russian comic book film.
A police officer takes it upon himself to catch a vigilante known as 'Plague doctor'. The 'villan' is set up as an anti hero where thru the use of social media who inspires the lower classes to rise up against the rich.
Colourful film that has more going for it than most comic book films. A decent amount of humour and a plot that actually works.

9th company. 2005. Russia.
8/10
Russia's version of Full Metal Jacket.
Based on true events, a group of young lads sign up for 2 years in Afghanistan that is under Russian occupation in 1988. The film follows the style of F.M.J. Starts with basic training with the hard nose commander, then on to Afghanistan.
Good insight into the Soviet strategy, which basicly consisted of keeping the supply lines open. Doesn't glamorise war or make it seem heroic.

Dinner in America. 2021.
6/10
Low budget comedy about a punk band singer and a straight laced girl.
Quirky and kind of abrasive but with enough humourous moments to make it worth the watch. Simple sorta plot that didn't have any surprises.
