It was coming right at him for a moment. The headlights cast a perfect silhouette of the guy on the statue's pedestal just before he hopped away.

I used to drive tow trucks. I remember going to an accident where a motorcycle hit a 4wd head on. The motorcycle was travelling way too fast and went on opposite side road taking a bend. The rider was torn in half. After the police finished their forensic work and the site cleaned up. A neighbour called the next day cause there was a dead body in his backyard. Unknown to everyone he had a pillion passenger who was thrown way over the crash scene and into the yard of a house on the bend.
Maybe a heart attack or some shit
