As a mate, perhaps you should start with something a little easier to keep...

You’ve never seen a hippo in action then it’s rage times a million

Hippos trained for war were the medieval equivalent of battle tanks along with elephants. The Mamluks of Egypt, successors of the Ayyubid dynasty which had first launched the offensive against the Crusader Kingdoms, had hippos which were completely covered with plate armor and snouts outfitted with curved sword blades on front and side so when the hippos swung their heads around, they were cutting down everyone in their paths. Both the Mamluk sultans Qutuz and Qalawun deployed these into battle in Palestine against the Crusaders and the Mongols. By Qalawun's time, small 'shot mortars' made from steel band reinforced pottery vessels, loaded with gunpowder and firing a swarm of lead, stone, and metal pellets and arrowheads with each blast, were being used. Those, and the armored hippos, were truly exotic weapons of the time and to those who never seen them, it had to have been utterly terrifying.

Let’s be honest whatever type of canine those are helped that badger out immensely, if they hadn’t caused the python to release his bite and half his coil to strike at the attacking dogs the badger would have gotten the smoke for sure.
Think of it this way. Almost any other animal would have ran after getting free, this fucker turns round and kills it for dinner!
