I had one that did that. Didn't mind too much, except for when the batteries were low and the tape would play slowly. I woke up one night thinking some sort of demon was in the room.

1984 was a bad year for me

i was 8 years old in 1984. i thought space alians and ufos were real. my parents were into the 1984 tv show called "v" and "alf" they would watch those shows every satuernight, that show would freak me out. then came the 1984 olmpics with the alian comming out and speaking to the crowd, then the news kept reporting that illegal aliens were crossing over to the usa border. this was a little to much for me. i thought it was all real. i slept with the lights on for a long time, i would make my father check the closet and under the bed every night. i would also make him stay with me untill i would fall asleep. untill i grew out of that fear.

well in 1984 the san diego news would say illeagal aliens crossing over the border, and not illegal mexican alieans that were crossing over. like i said i thought it was all real.

the 84 mc donalds masucure, because we were in the parking lot leaving when the shots rang out.

i also had a teddy ruxpin doll that also scared the crap out of me as well.
