I mean with a sidewalk like that, fuck it. Maybe use it as a passing lane. But the person IS going way too fast for being on a wet sidewalk.
It's so weird seeing no one out there though. In Chicago we have some sidewalks that are that wide in sections of the Loop and lakeside parks, but that's because there's constantly a ton of people walking no matter day/night, weather, or whatever else. The ONLY time I ever saw those areas that empty was during the covid lockdown. I picked up some side work delivering grub hub by bike. It actually felt kinda creepy, like a post Apocalypse in a movie. That was just the Loop though. The surrounding neighborhoods and mine were a little more empty, but not to the extreme ghost town feel downtown had.

I cant argue with that..
It was raining so anyone on the sidewalk deserved to be hit.
