A gunman has opened fire in Stade,
Germany today, killing at least 5. Two people have been arrested, one of which is being treated as a suspect.

UPDATE 2 (2:44PM local time):

Preliminary information suggests the shooting took place at some sort of youth institution. A male has been detained.
There are several wounded alongside the five fatalities.

Recap: A shooting took place today in the northern German city of Stade. At least five people are dead and multiple are injured. Two suspects, including one gunman, have been arrested while reportedly trying to flee the scene by car. It isn't entirely clear what part the other suspect played in the attack. The gunman is a male, while there is speculation that the other suspect is a female.

BREAKING: A sixth person has died in hospital. There are now six dead and 10 injured.
