...and I won't miss them. They've gone from music to dumb ass reality shit and that channel just needs to be shut down permanently now.

TLDRI remember watching the entire American MTV on satellite in the 90s, there was a lot of rap music and a lot of unlistenable European pop music, then later they stopped it and now they broadcast some European MTV shit mixed with some American shows like the British Jersey Shore which is a bunch of idiots with all kinds of silicone and tattooed whores and sexy boys with no brain swollen from steroids and you can understand two sentences of the whole show, they are probably spinning from cocaine and they speak with such an incomprehensible regional accent, or the American Ridiculousness which makes no sense and the host is also a good question why is he dressed like a 13 year old ghetto black kid when he is 51 year old white, but it is very difficult to understand American culture in many areas.
It would be a problem if MTV were to stop because in many countries there is no music TV at all, the German Viva also stopped broadcasting in many countries, I don't even know if there is even a German music TV in Germany at all
Of course from commercial zero music apart from that, there was basically good music sometimes on MTV or European German Viva, for now there is still MTV, Viva is not in its prime, but I specifically watched a lot and there was even Club Rotation on Viva TV 20 years ago when they went to all kinds of clubs for 1 hour every Saturday night, they broadcast that, at the same time I also went to have fun every weekend
Radio will remain if MTV goes away, although this is not entirely likely.

Yes, my son: I think you've smoked your brains out in the last 20 years.TLDR![]()

Do you remember Kristiane Backer? Not because I didn't watch the German Viva but the foreign broadcasts, usually only the German Berlin Love Parade was broadcast live from the German side, but SAT1, RTL, ZDF etc. were available regardless of thatView attachment 924932Do you remember Kristiane Backer?
Of course i didWayne Kümmertz
But if you like World War II movies, I don't know if you've seen the three-part series Unsere Mutter - Unsere Vater. The German side of the movie is pretty good (but the dirty cruelty of the partisans is missing)
In the late 80s there where better series, like Der Fahnder, Auf Achse, Soko 5113 and Rote ErdeWayne Kümmertz

I don't know any of the presenters I'm Hungarian, I only watched the broadcast here, and it was not German, it was Hungarian, with Hungarian presenters, not Germans.Kristiane Backer was host of MTV Europe, like Ray Cokes, Rebecca De Ruvo, Steve Blame, not to forget Simone Angel (MTV Partyzone)
Where you`re from?
You watched the same series as me... Die Schwarzwaldklinik, Das Erbe der Guldenburgs and Pumuckl of course aso
