My dear friend just killed someone in a traffic accident.

So the title explains the basics, but a very good friend of mine just struck and killed a person on a bike with her car a few hours ago. She was sober, he was in the lane, dark clothes, no lights. It was not at all her fault.

I pulled up on the site by coincidence a few minutes after. I'm just shocked and heartbroken for her. I just had to vent. And no, there is no video.

Hey calm down folks .. it was dark, and the guy on the bike was in dark clothing.
As you can see from this extremely disturbing image captured just moments after the collision ... the rider is unfortunately smooshed (highlighted in the top left red circle) and the poor distressed driver can be seen inconsolable in the larger circle .. what a tragedy indeed - They really should install some street lights in the area.

My friend's uncle accidentally hit someone with his car and killed them. He didn't get in trouble for it and later sold that car to my friend. He then also hit someone, but they lived that time. We called the car Christine.

I am sorry how horrible...I cant imagine . not the same thing, but..I am a huge animal lover and about 4 months ago I hit a coyote, slammed swerved, got swiped a bit on the rear of my car by a truck that kept going...I didn't care I just wanted to get the coyote off the road before 100 people hit it. I stopped, ran out, no cars, grabbed its back legs and pulled him to the grass on the side. I stroked his fur, told him how sorry I was, and just stood there looking at this beautiful thing that I just killed. broke me hard. he was majestic. I cried for a solid week, and still get misty when I drive by the area. he was so gorgeous! way bigger than I expected. precious thing, at least he died right away or I would have put him down. cant allow any animal to suffer. I wasn't on a cell phone, wasn't speeding, he just ran across and that was that. again, not the same thing, BUT I now your friend has to be really hurting. just be there for them, if they want to talk, listen, if they don't want to talk, don't push...just be there. xoxox

Damn I hope he turns out to be wanted for some real bad shit. Hopefully because taking an innocent life by accident is heavy, especially a normal person as I assume your friend is. She's gonna need your support for sure. Do you have any info on the victim?

You did the best you could and accidents happen sadly with wildlife because we have put roads everywhere. It would fuck me up too. Animals are innocent and most people aren't. 🤔

Yes it would my friend and I am in agreement with your outlook on animals and I too have been locked up for defending an animal and teaching the owner a lesson. Glad to know there's others out there looking out for animals the only way that works. I know on here alot of us feel the same way. Animals are exactly how they were created to be we are the only animals that choose what we want to be. A dog hasn't even the ability to think about being a bird and pretending to be one. Yet we can be such great people at work, church and community events and are really a serial killer who was a clown around kids.... Yeah Team Animal all the way! I am also actually a member of ALF.
