That is from the previous performance, he tried catching a bullet with his teeth but missed.

From a search about Indian death rituals involving fire, I am speculating that the footage in the OP depicts such a ritual - I notice a circle around the dead body, the idea being to encircle the corpse with fire, before eventually setting it alight - there are various rituals - possibly the one here has added an extra attraction: fire breathing (not unthinkably ending up with the extra dead body of the inexperienced fire breather).
With a rich and beautiful culture! We should do that in the US.
