Three days earlier a loyalist attacked mourners during an IRA funeral with grenades and handguns killing 3 and wounding 60+.
Milltown cemetary Held more IRA funerals over the next few days and when the crowd seen corporals of the British army, who they thought were more loyalists ready to attack again. The crowd dragged them from their car, attacked, stripped and shot them to death.
