I once had a friend that owned a tank of piranhas that he raised to full grown adults. They get bigger than shown here, as large as dinner plates. He'd feed them goldfish the size of your fingers. They thought they were fast. Instead, once the piranhas started feeding on them, they were half fast.

No. Apparently that was an unsuccessful attempt at a play on the phrase "half assed", which the goldfish were quite quickly in a tank of adult piranhas, and as such, they were half fast, too.
