So a number of years ago, before I changed my life around. I was a young man who was frequently in trouble with the law. Due large in part to substance abuse. I ended up going to many New York State Prison's in America within a 4 year span. Along the way I was witness first hand to some pretty savvy methods In creation I'd like to share with you guys.

So we all have heard of prison "hooch" which is homemade alcohol. Many already knowing how it is made. A simple blend of bread, sugar, juice, fruit and tomato paste for an allocated amount of time.
However this will take it to another level. Extracting the produced alcohol from the concoction into its purest form.
In NYS Prison hooch is considered "dirty" in relation to its most saught after form "clean". Which is the extracted method to be mentioned. One 12 oz bottle of "clean" can average $25-50 depending on supply and demand shortage can push $75-100 a 12oz bottle, especially on holidays.

The receiving end of an extension cord is cut, exposing the pos and neg wires. Which are then attached to a toenail clipper shielded in cardboard.
The "dirty" is placed in a bucket or bucket like pale. The extension cord is plugged, creating a current running to the toe nail clipper, producing heat. Which is then placed in the pale, heating the dirty.
The bucket and wire are then wrapped in a garbage bag, with just a tight enough seal to slowly let out pressure, creating a pressurized environment, as the "dirty" heats to boiling The bag expands into a balloon.
As the "dirty" begins to boil and the bag quiet literally looks like a balloon, streaks form on the side of the bag resembling rain. This is is the pure alcohol evaporating from the boiling hooch, catching on the side of the balloon.
In order to collect the evaporated alcohol, a spray bottle with cold water is used to spray the side of the bag, where the evaporated alcohol has streamed. Allowing it to cool and drip to the bottom.
The "clean" is then, bottled directly from the bag and sold.
** The neat part is, the mash from the dirty. The rice, fruit, bread and tomato paste concoction can be reused and re-invigorated by adding more sugar. The older the mash, the stronger the "clean". The yield depends on varying factors. Amount of mash, time spent in making. If you over boil you add water to the alcohol. Typically a 5 gallon batch of hooch will produce 3-4 strong 12oz bottles, in a 45 minute, to 1 hour and 20 minutes session.
