"On June 12, 2016, approximately 300 people were at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Just after 2 a.m., Omar Mir Seddique Mateen opened fire, shooting staff and patrons.
What began as an active shooter situation later turned into a hostage-taking situation when the perpetrator barricaded himself and victims in a bathroom. Around 5 a.m., law enforcement officers killed the shooter.
In total, 49 victims were murdered, and 58 others were wounded.
During the rampage, the shooter made three 911 phone calls from the club, beginning at about 2:30 a.m. In the calls, he claimed allegiance to several individuals: the leader of the so-called Islamic State (ISIL), the perpetrators of the 2013 Boston Marathon attack, and a Florida man who died as a suicide bomber in Syria for a terrorist group in conflict with ISIL.
The FBI concluded the attack was an act of terrorism—the worst on U.S. soil since September 11, 2001. In March 2026, the Pulse Nightclub building was torn down, with plans for a permanent memorial to open in 2027."

So I couldn't find any graphic pictures from the PULSE shooting, just body bagged bodies being led out and the damage to the building. However, I did find some of the police body cam footage, fro, here you can also look up other sources as well,
I wish the full security camera footage, and also the police bodycam footage, were available and uncensored. I suppose it must have been just like with Brenton: he must have cornered several people in one place and emptied his entire magazine into the pile of people in front of him.
If I recall correctly, Omar had firearms training because he was part of a security company similar to Blackwater. Omar had a final confrontation with SWAT units and even managed to hit one of the officers in the ballistic helmet. The officer managed to survive thanks to the helmet.

Fuck, I'd forgotten this was the original Uvalde debacle. Three hours outside, listening to executions, thumbs firmly planted up their ass.
Notable to me were the folks playing dead in the crowd shot, but reacting uncontrollably as he shot people ever closer to them. Playing dead might work with wild animals, but no one could be that calm in this situation.
