I love this 'fruit machines'! They're rare here in Germany, in the Netherlands they're more common, but you cannot win any money on them, only points/replays for fun.
Best are 'one-armed bandits' with real coins.

Really I thought Germany would be just as bad as the UK for gambling, there's bookies and arcades everywhere and most pubs and bars have fruit machines, I've been playing fruit machines mainly in pubs and sometimes in arcades for the past 15 years and know how to make money on them and which ones to play and more importantly when to play them

I meant especially the slot machines with fruits on the wheels and a simple game-system. The ordinary gambling machines are everywhere here, in pubs, little casinos, etc. But they're more 'complicated' and tricky to play than the classic 'fruit machines'.

So Germany is flooded with Digital slot machines, where as the UK is flooded with Digital machines and Reel based machines, the fruit machines are a great money maker if you know what you're doing, but all these modern digital machines are just there to take as much money as possible, in the UK in a Bookmakers you can do £100 spins for a maximum return of £500 lol or in the Casinos you can do upto £5 a spin for a jackpot of upto £10k or £20k on the linked progressive games, the maximum lose rate over here is £300 a min in the bookies, one £100 spin every 20 secs

We've got a casino here some years ago with a hall of these expensive, digital machines. You can set a game up to 10€ per spin, and there are high jackpots as well. Last I saw was around 20k as well.
They had 'night events' a floor above (roulettes,etc.) too, now the whole place is temporary closed due violation of fire-protection laws.
But I like more the old style machines in pubs here, you have some beer and lose/win maybe 200€ max. (If you're not addicted to gambling. lol)
