“A team of scientists claim to have discovered a new colour that no human has ever seen before.

The research follows an experiment in which researchers in the US had laser pulses fired into their eyes.”

shine lasers into your eyes, they said. You’ll see a new color, they said.

What they didn’t report - they’re all now blind. But they got to see that mfing turquoise

The closest thing you will ever see to a "new color" is looking into a natural opal. I still remember the first time I looked into one. Opal doesn't have a color as we would typically think, it simply has what's called "opalescent". It can't be reproduced artificially as a paint or anything, it actually changes depending on how you look at it too so simply seeing a picture of an opal online doesn't actually show you the reality of what it looks like.

It's less turquoise and more green - If I were to make this I'd use mint green as the primary then add a little light green, maybe even a speck of emerald green .. a tiny amount of blue, a smidgen of yellow and a glob of white. (Throwback to my painting days in my 20's) They are full of shit though.. there's not a color on Earth that hasn't been made, used or seen yet at some point!

Bah! That color is well established as seafoam green, the absolute worst wedding color on Earth! I mean just look at my avatar for Christ's sake! Being well versed in necromancy, I know my greens! Anyone with the audacity to use that for their nuptials gets precisely the chaos, death and destruction they deserve! You may as well use plastic furniture and wear flip flops too, then enjoy the ensuing carnage! :unreal:

That color is extremely common in Russian architecture. It would be hilarious if Western intellectuals were blind to it. Also, shooting lazers in each other's eyes, wtf? lol

Imagine trying to create a Communist utopia where everyone is equal while the leaders live in castles and the common people live in pre-fabricated 5 story walk up apartment buildings.

I discovered a new colour with a groovy scientist called Richard Jim…

We called it Ripened Plum…

Then, I realised I had been working with @Rick James in disguise and Ripened Plum was a euphemism for rectal prolapse! My gosh I felt such a fool.

By god. That is one hell of a close-up.
Let me ask you doc, how many nerves are in that orifice? That is, if i punch it, can the “host” feel the punch?
