I did my apprenticeship years ago at a welding shop (never ended up becoming a welder, but that's another story) and we welded what they called a "new brass arsehole" onto the back of a septic-tank pumping truck. After cutting the old arsehole out, if course.

The thickness of liquified feces likely creates a superior fire fighting material than just water alone. On the other hand any pockets of dissolved gas within that slurry would likely ignite and add to the fire's intensity.
