In Ulan-Ude, a woman suddenly dashed across a crosswalk and was struck and killed by a car.

The horrific collision was caught on video: the woman abruptly ran across a signal-controlled crosswalk against a red light and ended up directly in the path of the vehicle.

The driver was unable to stop in time. The force of the impact threw the pedestrian several meters. Her injuries proved fatal; she died at the scene.
