A woman suffered injuries after getting hit on the head with a pool cue following an argument at a bar and police are looking for her assailant. Witnesses told police that the woman was playing pool with a man when an argument broke out, possibly over a pool cue, because they started pulling the pool cue away from each other, Anaheim Sgt. Rick Martinez said.
Police were called at 12:55 a.m. Sunday to the Dolphin Lounge at 1274 S. Magnolia Ave. near Ball Road regarding an assault, said officer Martinez. Police officers found the 39-year-old woman, identified as Raeleen Holiday, suffering from a laceration to the top of her head, who appeared to have been drinking alcohol.
She was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange and was released Thursday afternoon.
