I have used DVDxCOPY since 2009 the newer programs are basically the same
As for a player any cheap .Xvid dvd player will work i load them on usb and play them on my dvd player as well.

Not at all related but since 2021 I’ve been starting to collect different forms of media of VeggieTales. Such as DVDs, VHSs, CDs and cassettes. Purely out of childhood nostalgia, I fell out with religion many years ago. For a good burner I also used DVDxCopy as it came with something I downloaded. For a good DVD player, I just use a ASUS usb DVD drive I picked up from a thrift store. Works fine.

Sorry for the mess, I have a unused sofa that I use for not only my VeggieTales collection, but also for my hat collection and my VR.

Oh, the music wasn't all bad either, if you like 90's burnouts singing about heroin playing their acoustic guitars. There are a couple renditions in there where he's playing high af and he does mellow stuff you really wouldn't have expected.

As for DVD rippers, look on GitHub for free shit, might have to buy a quality one though, I recommend googling around or asking chatgpt (go on bing and choose chat to use chatgpt 4 for free)

I rented that one on YouTube surprisingly 😅 but for sure gonna get that one prime delivered. I was going to get Mondo Cane as well for the realistic account of those tribes as I noticed that they used a lot of truth mixed in with the fiction to make their storyline more interesting. Torrents rely on seeders(people uploading) so the person uploading would have had the upload rate on the bare minimum lol either that or your internet is shit

I used to collect a bunch but in the past couple years I've sold them all, after backing them up of course. I had a pretty decent collection, as far as tools used, just used the same programs already mentioned.

I had a unedited copy of A Serbian film (before it was trendy) that some kid offered me $150 for and that kinda started me off in selling my collection.

Collecting strange things is quite easy in Germany, almost everything that is fun is forbidden. There are different categories that you can collect. Movies are a big area. Years ago I had a psychosis in which I destroyed everything that was forbidden (in this case it was just a few weapons and propaganda but also a few films had to go too.) Why can't states just stop banning them? You don't even get an uncut version of Braindead here, that's ridiculous. But luckily there is now the internet. That made things easier, but getting originals is as hard as ever.

I remember trying to send cannibal corpse tapes to a penpal in Germany, none of them ever got through.
