I'm hearing lots of people saying the shelves at their local grocery stores are pretty empty! I'm not freaking out, I knew this was coming. This will most likely decimate all mom and pop owned restaurants. I have a feeling, this is going to have an epic bad ending?

It will occur now or later. Now with the tariffs and cost adjustments, or later when the debt is called and the country goes bankrupt. Perhaps these short term measures are just delaying the inevitable. This “Big Beautiful Bill” doesn’t seem to give much of AF about stupid spending.
I shopped early this morning, enjoyed full shelves and completed my grocery list. Eggs were actually down to $4.39 from $4.89 two weeks ago. I stocked up on beer, wine and spirits for the next quarter at my supplier, too. Those prices on all three were up 10% each.

If peace in Ukraine happened 2moro, and the sanctions were lifted..... Russia would have no tarrifs upon it. Just because it is currently sanctioned, tarrifs should still have been announced for Russia - for when it is allowed to return to a trading situation - when the US was dictating it's terms to the world. Does this mean that Russia will never have economic dealings with the USA? Unlikely, as Trump has his heart set on ripping Ukraine apart, along with Russia, to get access to the mineral deposits in the country.
