Serious Social media and loneliness

90% of communication is non verbal.

Pheromones play a not fully understood part in that but I think its substantial.

None of that communication is possible unless face to face so of course all the net offers is the allusion of being social and having lots of 'friends' is a autistic spectrum fantasy of forums like Facebook.

Social media is a new and emerging technology and we are still trying to accomodate it culturally. take for example the amplification of 'noise' that the woke crowd get when they have a hysterical 'pile on'. and how the corporate world responds. the way for corporations to respond is to take these fuckers to court each time they threaten a business.

When I go out walking or cycling I do not take music or earbuds or even a phone with me. I want to connect with reality and have time to think.

Being a lone wolf makes you stronger mentally and physically. The plandemic proved it after all those people started killing themselves after just a few weeks of isolation. Being so emotionally dependent of others scares me more than being alone. Besides no one has reached illumination (Nirvana, arayashiki, dokkodo, whatever you want to call it) by being surrounded by people. I personally would have never dominated fasting, reset my metabolism, get in the better shape of my life and quit all the vices I had if it weren't thanks to self isolation. As Robin Williams once said: "I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It's not. The worst thing in life is end up with people that make you feel all alone."

Check this girl for example and how absurd were her reasons to kill herself.

I would recommend people to study philosophies like Stoicism and Buddhism before wasting their time and money in "therapists" who usually are more mentally fucked up than their clients.

How terrible to not have enough internal resources to keep your self alive... lovely arse though...

i have a wife and children, but otherwise enjoy being alone.
relationships take a lot of energy to build and maintain, which can be used in other more satisfying endeavors.
i'm friendly to all but friends with none.

absolutely. i've recently been self isolating and have conquered drinking and over-eating...losing over 30 pounds in only 4 months.
it's easier done being alone, being focused, thinking about ways to improve life, and then doing what needs to be done.
