I had a Subaru Impreza 2018 with autonomous braking that was great. One day I had my dad in the car and explained to him how it worked as we came up to a car stopped at the traffic lights. I was waiting for the deceleration but it never came I manually stopped the car at the last minute.


I think the car in front has to be tracked by the cruise control when still moving. It doesn't seem to 'see' stationary objects.

Autonomous vehicles will never work as long as there are human controlled vehicles on the road. It has to be all autonomous in order for it to work, not half and half or 3/4 and a 1/4, etc. Fuck these automotive companies and their shitting designed cars that all look the same.
