A 21-year-old man died after disobeying the military police's order to stop and colliding with one of the police officers, this Sunday morning (25), on Rua Cláudio Ghirelli, north of the Capital. On that occasion, the police carried out an operation to seize vehicles when a motorcycle with two occupants without helmets, at high speed, advanced towards the police. One of the police officers attempted to stop him, but the driver disobeyed and collided sideways with him, causing an injury to the officer's face. During the incident, the tip of the police officer's rifle ran over the motorcyclist, who managed to escape, but was later found lying on the ground, injured. He was rescued, but did not survive due to a neck injury, which will be investigated. The other occupant fled and the motorcycle he used was not located. During the incident, another motorcycle, stolen, was recovered.
