The average American has only been to 5 of these places - how about you?

I've been to all of them, except HI (Road to Hana). US is a spectacular Nation, with some of the best real estate on the planet.
It has mountains, deserts, plains, tundra, almost everything in one, English speaking country. A person really doesn't need to ever leave it.

I have been to all except the French Quarter and the Road to Hana.....Hawaii and Louisiana are the only states I've never been to.

Never been to Louisiana because fuck Louisiana.

Never been to Hawaii because if I have to spend that long on a plane I'm going to Europe.
Got to do Mardi Gras at least once

Walt Disney World is in Orlando, Florida (I went at age 12), along with Universal Studios and the Mecca for all 90s kids, Nickelodeon Studios.
Found out the green slime they put on peeps is colored apple sauce

Disneyland is in Anaheim, California
Dammit Rick, you beat me to the correction!
Sorry girl - I’m too cool.

My favorite ride at universal was the drop tour. I remember it was a twilight zone one. I remember going on it so many times in one day…
What was your favorite?

What about the Library of Congress, the Kennedy Space Center or the Metropolitan Museum of Art?

I am not from the states, I just wonder if those places have the same importance as the listed things.

Of the three you mentioned I've only been to the MET, its very cool.

I do think the list is missing a few specific venues and some geographic areas that are worth seeing.

Venues:
-The Johnson Space Center south of Houston
-The Smithsonian has a whole collection of facilities/museums, I've only been to The National Air & Space Museum (its bloody fantastic), National Museum of American History & the Renwick Gallery
-The Museum of Natural History in NYC is cool
-Mesa Verde Colorado

Broader areas/cities I really enjoyed and I think are worth visiting:
-Moab park Utah
-Santa Fe New Mexico
-Sedona desert Arizona
-Napa & Sonoma (in particular Russian River)
-Savannah Georgia
