The guy was allegedly hiding from the cops after committing numerous felonious crimes, the filmmakers claim to have discovered him, and then aided and abetted his escape instead of turning him in to face justice. They then posted the video online to garner ad revenue which makes no sense unless they're very stupid or the whole thing was staged from the start.
