Here's a fun fact. The huntsman spider is called that because it doesn't make a Web to catch prey because they basically hunt their prey by chasing it down!

I saw a green huntsman spider jumping down on the floor from a ceiling and heard a big thump as it landed. I ran outside superfast 😂

I know we have them in Aus. My house has them running around. They are slightly venomous but they are non aggressive. I have picked them up in my hands many times.

I used to shine my torch on insects on the ceiling and then watch as the spider stalked and pounced.
