movies Weird indie movie called "Penguin Lessons" made me cry like a woman .. quite embarrassing actually.

Had to fill in a couple of hours in the city today and decided to go see a movie in one of those weirdy Europa cimemas (nope it wasn't one of them crazy porno places so shuddap!) it was a movie with the guy from Monty python so I thought maybe it won't be too crap. I gave it a look and at the end I felt like crying .. but this movie surprised me - the story was simple and sweet and anyone who has a pet ... like a cat or a dog or anything else .. it pulled at those emotions when that fucking penguin died at the end ... fucking movie really hit me. - anyway .. maybe you see it on a cheap download or something .. give it a chance you might like it. It's not a shit movie

Oh shit sorry ... I thought about that as I wrote it but it's kind of inevitable with a movie like this - but gotta say ... even though a big part of my logic told me ... yeah the pengy might die at some point ... the reason I even made this whole post was from how bad the movie rattled my emotions or I wouldn't have made the post. Even if you know the story it still hits the feels no matter how much you expect it. Call me a pussy... but I sat in my seat at the end and put my hoodie on and pretended not to cry .. it's not a spoiler to know the end - the end is actually beautiful - a kid who studied penguins in the movie explains how important the penguin's life in the few weeks at the University mattered. I actually think that was the moment I felt emotional about the whole thing.
