What’s your closest Death Encounter?

What’s your closest death encounters, I’m not talking about shit like Corona or whatever, like terrifying, near-death encounters.
Oh man, I have tons. I’ve worked in the mines, construction, and did a lot of drag racing also street. I’m older and a busy man with family, but still have my 69 firebird in the garage. The wife call her my 2nd wife. Late 7s on a 1/4 mile with short tire. I haven’t driven her since 2003 because I don’t want to die yet. The worse one was going 147mph when someone pulled out in front of me. I didn’t have seat belts, roll-cadge, nothing. I was about 17 before curfew. I won the race but almost died over 140 bucks in that time.

Gosh I miss those days.

When I worked on an ambulance we had a call on an OD. Went into the house and the girl was gray and dead. I started working her up and was setting up an airway when she came back.

On the way to the hospital I was talking to her, she said she left her body and was floating near the ceiling watching people working around a ‘person’. She said “I was watching the back of your head and when you moved and I saw myself on the ground. I got scared and returned back down into my body”

An OD when I was 18. I was in a coma for a while. Doctors said to my family they should turn the life support off but my family refused.
I was still in hospital for a while after waking from the coma. I had a freak out one day so they injected me with a tranquiliser. Turns out I'm allergic to it and went straight into anaphylactic shock. Needed to be revived because I stopped breathing. Still here though and I'm grateful.

. Being cornered by a group of five guys when I was only 18 years old. And when they were about to cut my throat with a broken bottle, they realized they had the wrong person.

. Heroin+Coke overdose and a guy had to resuscitate me. +/- 27 years ago.

.I was stabbed three times in the stomach by a drunk Finn while working in a bar. Luckily, the knife was blunt and didn't pierce the skin.

.Serious motorcycle accident, no helmet, and I literally smashed my forehead.

.A car accident where all five occupants ended up spending some time in the hospital with multiple injuries.

.Accident involving a 12-meter catamaran inside a cave, where the roof of the boat collapsed on the crew and passengers; despite several injured I escaped unharmed.

I know there are more, but I can't remember them right now.

Lost in the desert on a hot day. Started AM. missed the trail I was supposed to take north. Went way too far east looking for my turn. Got confused and panicked. Panic made me exhausted. Ran out of water. Dehydrated and lost. Luckily ran into some hikers who pointed the way out. Close call.

One time I took some Fentanyl then decided to go to my local store to buy cigarettes with counterfeit bank notes. The Mexican store owner noticed and called the police. When they arrived, I resisted arrest so they threw me to the curb and pressed a knee into my neck. I started screaming “I can’t breathe! I can’t breathe”
Hang on a minute, that wasn’t me!!
Oops 😬🤭🤣🤣
