Saw this video and wanted to know what the GG Community thinks about it and the idea of ghosts/spirits in general since i havent come across a solid discussion about it on here, all opinions and experiences are welcome.

TL;DR version: They're dead. Moving on.
My opinion: I'm not watching a TikTok video about ghosts and apparitions. Believe what you want. Animals can see things that we cannot. You know the pet cat that sits in the corner, glaring at the wall while twitching it's tail? It saw something. You know the sudden chill you get down your spine for no reason? That was your mind playing tricks on you. You know those ghost hunting videos you find in the paranormal rabbit hole on YouTube? They're either fake or delusions. In this technological age, you would think we have more evidence of the paranormal. Instead, we have more evidence of space lizards than we do of the lady in white. This era in our history has proven that species of animals once thought to be extinct are still alive. Yet the "ghost" videos are just faked trash or tricks being played on us by our mind. Those "orbs" are just specks of dust or small insects. Those disembodied "voices" heard in recordings are either someone off camera or added in later with video editing software. In the end, they're dead. Moving on.

I'd like to think that when I die I'll be surrounded by my pets and people I loved but the reality is no, I'm worm food.
The paranormal, spirits, ghosts, etc. were all thought up for the same reasons as religion. As groups humans are gullible soft headed tits who need something to cling on to out of fear so we've made shit up to satisfy that and a need to belong.

The real question is; what are you using your life for? We can ponder the afterlife until we die, but we won't know until we're there. I'd rather know, in my last moments, that I lived a life well spent. When you look at the dead people in your cemetery, you should be asking yourself, "Will I measure up to my forefathers? Will I surpass them?" That's what all your dead relatives would (hopefully) want for you, anyway, not wasting your life trying to communicate with the dead.
My Opinion: Animals and babies/young children can see spectral entities. Animals know before an earthquake happens, and children see monsters. At some point, probably kindergarten, we are conditioned to believe that ghosts and monsters don't exist and it's our "imagination." I also believe that LSD and peyote unlock that forbidden part of our brains.

I think if ghosts/spirits were real there'd be plenty of video evidence. My mom watches those ghost hunter shows and they never capture anything, just seems like a bunch of hokey bullshit. I lump that in with stuff like astrology, aliens, and psychics. These people want to believe it's real so they convince themselves by distorting any little strange event or coincidence.
All bird jokes aside... I believe there are hypersensitive people that may be able to hear/see/feel/smell etc ghosts and shit but I just ain't one of em. Thank fuck for that too cuz I don't want any ghosts bothering me.

I've had a few odd experiences over the years but mostly in my youth. Stuff that has stuck with me for 30+ years. Do I think any of it was strictly paranormal...no. Do I think there's a rational explanation for some of it...there isn't or at least I haven't found any. If there's any interest, I'll tell a story from my childhood that has stuck with me for a very long time. Just reply here and I'll type it out when I have the chance.

If ghosts exists, that means spirits exists. Since a spirit is a soul that means we have souls also. If I have a soul, that means the existence of heaven ✨️ so that means if heaven exists so does God.. you do the math now as to where your eternal resting place would like to be.
