What exactly is the last straw to put a dog down?

This sounds like a case for Cesar Milan.

Something happened in this dog's life that got him fucked up good and proper. From what you write it seems some basic training won't do the job. He needs to be domesticated and socialized. And no, it is not the dog's fault. Nine times out of ten unmanageableness in a dog stems from wrong guidance of the owners or even abuse. (You did not mention whether your mother was it's first owner - he might have had a troubled past, when he came into her possession.)
My own humble advice: give him to a shelter or else find some dog wizard who could discipline, socialize him. There is no point at all in keeping a dog out of loyalty while he is making his human owners' lives miserable, besides not having a good canine life himself - I get the picture of a very frustrated, restless dog that constantly has all his defenses up. That shouldn't be.

There is no "last straw" here. At this stage the entire life of the dog is the one last straw after the other.

(One of my dogs in the past was a difficult case, and I enlisted the help of a guy who did wonders with dogs, eventually Mick became manageable.)
the most traumatic thing MY MOTHER IN LAW and husband did to that asshoe was take him too early from his mother and he is the runt..he has had these issues forever ..i was told the puppy was sociable at some point..beau attacks when you dont give him what he wants ..its not just a trauma thing ..one thing to attack someone because you always got hit..another when you are fine petting the dog and another animal in the house comes up to you to be pet and you both get attacked..also there was no previous owner i live with my mother in law ..he isnt my dog..thats why im asking this ...

Here's what I get from this fat slags original post.

She's only been married for a year but is posting distubing photos of their tits and ass.

Is complaining about her mother-in-laws dog despite the fact that she's living under her roof.

Is so poor that even freeloading at mom-in-laws house has no disposable income for a dog trainer.

Is starved for attention so badly she's making post after post about mundane topics. Clearly isn't getting attention at home.

Is a contemptible Karen who is constantly in Bitch-mode. We all should feel pity............. for her husband and M-I-L.

You need to be short bussed. You're a terrible person. 🤣

like4-5 ..he does ..he probably should've been neutered but no
Thats the key to removing the aggression, removing the balls. I have a 8 month Cavapoo who is the sweetest little boy ever but lately if he has a toy in his mouth he starts growling when we approach. The vet recommended de-balling the little guy. Im not for it, but I guess if its gonna calm him down its worth it.

sorry its a rant of a shitty dog i wanna get hauled away
I have a shitty cat (only shitty to other cats) that I love to death, I wish I knew the answer. I just brought home two feral cats from the pound last Feb., and my cat is still harassing them, so he is either outside, or locked behind a door somewhere in the house.

i can excuse that a bit more as long as the cat doesnt have the ability to maul others

The dog is never the "asshole" --- animals are innocent, always.
Owner is the one who needs to decide. Basically you can't do much about the situation, except protect yourself .
The ideal window for separation, is between 8 and 12 weeks.
Perhaps the dog has a difficult character, perhaps your mother in law made some crucial mistakes, which intensified the dog's inherent traits. We can't know.

I won't tolerate a violent dog. If it can't be broken of attacking people, or other animals, I will absolutely put it down myself.
see people keep defending the dog like as if everyone in the house is provoking him ...he is insecure and hates not getting what he wants and thinks he can bully you ..you try asserting dominance and it makes him attack harder ...we have an elder in our house and he has knocked her down b4..i suggested to my husband that we should get the dog neutered ..if that doesn't calm down the aggression and need to be dominant, then ..idk what will
