That's tough. Like I said, though, I won't tolerate that. Some dogs, like some people, just aren't right and can't be fixed. I've had to put two dogs down in my life. One was mine and attacked our cat and my wife, and one attacked an older neighbor. (It was her dog and she agreed with me.) I hope it works out for you.

You need a dog's written consent to put them down. You also need them to sign an accompanying Do Not Resuscitate order. Both of these will protect you in case you are sued for Wrongful Death by any of the canine's remaining family members.
