games What Game Are You Currently Playing?

Do you use your ps3 (or ps4) controller with your PC or do you use a keyboard? I should try to play with a ps3 controller, it's much more easier for most games...
Depends on the game. Most games nowadays have controller support and I prefer controller over keyboard just because of the convenience factor. We actually use a wired 360 controller on the pc most of the time. Fiddling with drivers and shit to get sony controllers working is a bitch when Microsoft has a cheap and decent controller that comes automatically with all that shit. Losing the cable would be nice though...

Next time I have some time to loose, I'll try with a ps3 controller. I have difficulties with several games (like Saint Row's 4, Prototype 2, Shadow of Mordor,...)

Are you going to play The Evil Within in two weeks (US)? (same dude as RE4) IMHO 4 was the best one)

Personally I think Res 4 was one of my least favs, mainly because it was so untrue to thr originals, I still enjoyed it but not as much as the others.

I'm a complete Bethesda slut and a resident evil whore si I'm praying this is gonna rock my world, really hyped to play it.

With PS3 I've had better luck using an external utility like motionjoy, or xpadder instead of depending on the drivers to recognize the controller properly. You'll figure it out. The only real benefit to using a ps3 controller though is bluetooth vs wired connection, and of course the familiarity of one controller over another. I can switch between the two fairly comfortably so it's not a big deal for me.

Do you have problems with those games in general, or just with keyboard and mouse?

Once you get the hang of KB/M everything else seems inferior, jut my 2c especially for 1st/3rd person games.
Every "true" pc gamer says that. Granted, mouse is always a thousand times more accurate than a controller, and keyboard has way more buttons than a controller. Hell, even I have a gaming mouse that has a shit ton of buttons on it. I still just prefer the controller feel, and the fact that I don't need a desk/table to play.

To each there own dude.

I don't foresee a console matching my tower's specs for 10 or so years (at the absolute fastest!). I like the expandability of a PC over the consistently mediocre power of consoles, plus we can use controllers instead of KB/M just as easily. My computer can likely emulate an Xbox One (what a garbage machine BTW, terrible decision on my part, thankfully it was a gift for someone else) and a PS4 simultaneously without effort.
I use a PS3 controller for emulated games (KB/M just doesn't have the right feel for Chrono Trigger/LoZ/Pokemon/etc.), but prefer KB/M over my 360 controller for modern games because of the vast amount of programmable keys.

Emulation doesn't work like that. Ports, sure. Emulation though... no. Also, having both a gaming pc and current gen consoles has taught me that graphics don't matter. We won't be seeing any real increases in graphical output any time soon. Draw distance, shaders, lighting, all the stuff that makes our games look shiny don't mean shit because the people who make games aren't working on the stuff that should be important. The physical interaction with the world in any game still looks like absolute balls. Clipping and invisible walls are the norm. That's fucked. When you can instantly be drawn out of what is supposed to be an immersive experience it doesn't matter what kind of controller your using, or console/computer you're playing on.
