Two IRL years later, all the Arabs are dead so I decided to stop by the Nord capital take their lame fucking king as a hostage. This game really needs a mod so I can skin my hostages alive during sieges, or launch priests from catapults.

The art style in this game is all over the place. Lucio, Reaper and Mercy are my three favorite characters, let me tell you though the lines on almost all these characters are freakin' cringeworthy.

No, you're right about the whole game being cringey, and thinking about it now with all these 21 characters the roster could have at least been condense to a few short characters instead of 21 at launch but it's kinda obvious that Blizzard is looking to turn this game's character roster into a MOBA like roster with an art style trying to appeal to COD fans to anime fans, and so on. If you're planning on buying this game, go for the 40 dollar version the 20 dollars more one is only for cosmetic skins for other Blizzard games.

I've heard of it, never bothered to check it out. Only space sim I ever played, if you can even consider it is EVE Online and FreeSpace 2.
