What is your favourite overlooked underrated band.

I posted this in the metal forum on the site last week. This was actually recorded a full six mos. before Black Sabbath recorded their debut but didn't see release until 1971. This trio from NYC were way before their time and you can hear their influence on Sabbath, deep purple, etc. The vocals can get a lil nerve wracking at times but still remains one of (if not the ) first metal albums to be recorded. Original copies are insane I'm price as are the reissues but a worthy addition to any serious metal lovers collection.

I don’t know if this qualifies, but 80s Pantera. They achieved significant success in the 90s, but this also led to most fans shitting on their first four albums of the previous decade. Sad.

There's a duo out of Romania called Shut Up & Kiss Me. They do great pop covers, and Giulia has a nose similar to mine, which might make me a doppelbanger, but I'm not sure

Medicine, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Eric's Trip, Fugazi, Skinny Puppy, Slowdive, The Amps, The Breeders, Sonic Youth, L7, My Life with the Thrill Kill KuIt, The Queers, Mojave 3, SNFU, Face to Face, Rise Against ... I could go on for a while. The Crow Soundtrack is a great place to start. There were a ton of Alt bands from the 90s who were always on the outside of the industry. We knew them and Loved them and they were famous to us but only us which is what we wanted.

Was wondering what small bands you guys absolutely love that get ovelooked and why. For me I've been getting hooked on dreamstate lately, though i had listened for a few years never thought to bump them up till recently.
Might give me some new music to listen too aswell.

Fav song by them is "I feel it too" the soft and hard mix is rare in music fight me, this band seems to do it flawlessly, or perhaps they're actually shit and my ears have gone but live in a small room they fkn rock though, better than katy pery "not really a flex as i dislike poppy shit to no end, next to hip hop, holly fuck i hate hip hop" but the emotion in their music is top tier awesome, not over the top lorna shore death core scream and pig squealing, and even softer than some pop bands in those soft spoken bridges ❤️.

Below is a cover of Linkin Parks Crawling they did that no one heard lmao it's not bad as she is a bit of a screamer like Chester was, first youtube link forgive if it's shit.

I heared this for the first time today as i usually stay away from covers, though id have ratherd her the only decent singer in the band to have fronted both verses lmao.

however it only had like 16k views on YouTube lol, I love this band but shit are they small for what I feel they're worth.

Somali Yacht Clubs first 2 albums 1 the Sun 2 the Sea.
