Right, so where I'm living there's quite a few issues within the personal lifes of the family who own the land..
Me and Addy (the mum, have already had a deep long hardcore conversation where she cried excessively and took way too many hugs, at some point saying "you may have saved me £150 a week on counselling" so that's already great)
But anyway guys
So
They have this kid, langarren, he's 19..
He hasn't spoken to anyone outside of the family since he was 12, and it's routinely been put to me just how scared they are of (not in a, he's a psycho way, more.. what the fuck do we do) and for him. It all started after various marital issues, an affair, the dad having a degenerative neurological disorder and the mum being away from home alot trying to look after the land they own. There's been health problems, love scares and lots of sheltering! Being vegans ofcourse.
So he's been going to counselling twice a week for around 4 years and hasn't made any progress, he's on his second counsellor and things aren't great still...

Today
He called my name, found me and asked if I wanted to see a swarm of bees, so he showed me them and I was all woah and wow man! A fucking swarm of bees dude? The fuck? All we need now is a wicker Man langarren and we can go full pagan with this shit
Anyway
We ended up

For over a fucking hour!!! I told him stories of chavs with crack and knives, living on the move, hippies, drifters, being in a fort fucking a fair amount of mad crap which I knew he hadn't ever been exposed to beyond horror stories online (he's a bright lad, scared of the way the world is and where it could lead.. typical though hey!?)
Anyway.. that's all really
Ken and Addy were mega happy thanking me in secret (they had seen us talking and kept a distance to let it happen you know?)
Well langarren usually does around 20minutes work at the land then goes and sits on his phone in a shed out of the way.. apparently he worked all day today, langarren won't usually come to the land without pressure but told ken (his dad) he'd like to come up tomorrow :') (I'm fucking buzzing better than those bees people)
I told him he'll have to show me the way from here to lerryn through the woods soon (I know the way but she).. figured, it gives him a chance to step out from his elder brothers shadow, have someone listen to and follow him, let him show some leadership, and be treat like a normal person, not a autsy vegan repressed and depressed mute (that's what he fucking needs after all eh)
Ah anyway I'll stop there as this is already long
But fuck me!! I'm well happy lmao ah! Apparently when him and Ken got home they called Addy and he told her "I've never spoke like that with someone, it was exhilarating mum"
Fucking good kid! Fucking good family, lots of problems sure but hell, hell maybe there's hope.

I planted a load of gooseberry bushes, mulched a good size area and weeded the fuck out of the place with this hand plough type thing (big thing with a wheel and blade on the end, fuck knows what it's called)
Fuck yeah!!!
Now back to a cuppa tea, some Bolognese and a splash of gore
