Where I live, there's always cars in front and behind of special transportation like this. They guide the driver and signal other drivers to potential dangers. Also, they plan their routes as to not having difficult turns onto railway tracks.

There are several cases of trucks and cars that have an electrical fault on train tracks, I don't know why, I think it has something to do with electricity on the tracks... But I don't think that's the case in this video.
