Ok, so this is something that happened to me back in 2011 when I was still living in Strasbourg (France) at the end of my "Tour de France" with the "Companions du Devoir" (I was a traditional plasterer at the time).
It was mid Autumn on a friday after work when I was hanging out with a few friends in the "house", the guy who was with me at the time of the event was a carpenter (menuisier), we were gonna go out for a "tournée des bars" (a round of the local pubs, usually 5 or 6 in the night) but neither of us had any cash on us or a debit card (considering our age at the time, only withdrawal cards) so we told the group we'd go withdraw nearby (there was a bank no further than 300m) from the "house", like around the corner and up past a road.

Coming out of the house we both noticed (looking to our left exiting the "house") this kinda hot chick walking towards us with two guys. Looked back once then moved on around the corner. By the time we reached the corner of the street, the trio caught up to us, and asked for a fag (cigarette), neither of us were smokers so we said so ... one of the guys immediately asked where we were going (dressed as we were, customs of the Companions were to wear a dress shirt at all times, and at least a nice pair of jeans) ... I didn't answer, but the idiot I was with told the whole story: "just going to get some money then go to the bar" ...
I should have found an excuse to fuck off in hindsight, but didn't ... my good nature was to blame; LOL.
They said they were going the same way (second massive red flag).
The guy I was with, totally oblivious.

Then the guys who were with the chick started talking about how hot she was, we kinda agreed, since they obviously saw up taking a second look earlier, and moved on.
One of the guys then asked us if either of us would like to "spend some time with her" ... (massive third red flag), at this point I knew what was going on, or what was about to happen, but my friend was still kind of oblivious and engaged in conversation ...
I, understanding the situation, played the "nice guy in on it" and they responded accordingly, saying they liked me whilst behaving a little more abruptly with my friend (my guess is they knew I was onto them, and played stupid hoping my friend was not (which he wasn't)).

We finally got to the distributor, at which point my friend said, "ok have a nice day, we're stopping here" ...
By this time, the second guy who we were not really interacting with and who was on his phone, had already called in a couple friends of his (probably saying they had secured a target) "and out of the blue" two other guys appeared from around the corner (yep, "pincer movement" ambush style ... quite literally).
The moment the two other guys had appeared, my friend had already put his card in the machine and entered his code (back before you needed the code before selecting how much you would withdraw).

This is when it all moved in slow motion for me:
- One of the guys pulled a knife on us (rusted kitchen knife, the type you'd use to cut a steak ... pointy with a curve and standard wooden handle with two rivets, a very basic knife)
- Another moved forward, and entered as much as he could on the screen in place of my friend (after asking him his withdrawal ceiling, to which the moron answered)
- the chick moved back to play a "spotter role" of sorts ? Or didn't believe what was happening and looked around to see if anyone around noticed. (I'm not sure the role she played in all this)
- One of the other guys played the backup and stayed behind the two of us.
- The fourth guy had his hand in his pocket as if he also had a knife (most likely did considering the geometry of his pocket and hand as seen from an outsider)

The guy who entered the amount pressed "valider" (accept) but the guy who had the knife trained on us took it.
(at this point I'm not quite sure if the 4 guys and 1 girl were in the same group, since the others were as surprised as us to see the guy with the knife take the money (800+ € at least btw))

They then turned to me, telling me to get my card out and withdraw.
Idk if my "being liked by them" helped, but when I said I didn't have my card on me, nobody questioned it ...
At this point we managed to distract them somehow (I'm guessing once again that the guy who had the knife pulled out on us was not in their group, and that actually played a big role in us managing to disengage the situation) and moved back towards the "house".
At this point, we'd moved like 10-20 meters away from them without turning back, and the guy who asked f we wanted to have a moment with the chick had decided to follow us ...
He slung his arm around the neck of my friend a couple times on the way back, but instead of entering through the front, where there was a keypad to enter ... I got all of us to go through the back entrance where I knew some friends of ours would be hanging out.
The dude was acting as if he owned us at this point.
I said, "well, this is private property, you can't come any further" ... the guy didn't even register what I said and kept following us.

I then got the idea of getting him even further in behind, and pulled an ambush of my own.
The guy realized what I was doing the moment I called out for a couple of our friends, another carpenter, built like a tank, and a stone carver built even stronger.
He lashed out on my friend (easier target among us) instead of me and unfortunately managed to escape my grip and run away before the other two could catch up so we could all deliver mob justice on his ass.

Cops were called moments later, my friend, only real victim (both physical and financial) went on a drive along with the cops to try and spot the group, unsuccessfully tho.

Ever since that day, I decided to get fit, gain mass and always carry a knife of my own at all times.
Served me once since I've already stabbed someone once, got my knife confiscated as evidence, and bought another one since.
No, I did not get in trouble since I had video surveillance as proof in my hearing, and self defense was justified. Not that the guy suffered much ... I was taken back y how easy it is to stab someone and didn't fully go through with it.

So yeah, that's my story.
If any of you have something to share, I'd love to read it.
Yep, Waco Texas about 30 years ago. White dude with a long Lone Ranger type gun.
2nd day of college...knife to the throat by a cracked out black guy....pulled behind a dumpster in downtown Pittsburgh. Said I was a student and he let me go. Started carrying immediately after.
My experience was in college as well but I think it was in my second year in Waco Texas.

just got the shit kicked out of me once by a group of blacks then the second time by a huge jacked one love London so diverse

Yes. A couple days ago. By a family member who needed a roof over her head bc her bf “was abusing her “. I had the hell beat out of me, been drugged and r*ped, and hurt in other ways I won’t mention for 8 years. She knew it. She stole $300 that we had saved for groceries this month after she had been there for a week, her “abusive” boyfriend picked her up, and off they went. Got home from physical therapy and the money was gone. I don’t know what we are going to do. 😞😞

So yeah, that's my story.

I was 9 years old going to the corner store to get some ice cream with $5 my mom gave me. I got jumped by 4 kids a little older than me. Was pounded with broomstick. They didn't get my money. Nobody was going to take away money for ice cream. I just took the beating, they stopped because we were next to a semi busy road. I stood up, brushed myself off, got my ice cream and went home. Had some bruises but it only made me stronger I guess.

Haha my hometown
When I lived in Mt. Oliver in high school 2 black dudes tried to steal my dog.....a 100 lb japanese akita rescue. Bad idea. They opened the gate, tried to grab my dog by the collar and I got the pleasure of watching Boshi tear the shit out of one of them as the other ran down the street.
My drunk stepdad came out and pulled Boshi off him and kicked the guy a cpl times.
I'm pretty sure no one called the cops and the guy took his bloodied ass back down the hill to the St Clair Village projects.

I'm more of a cat person ... but if I were to have a dog, I'd get one that would shred someone to pieces if I were to let it "have some fun".
It's just way easier to have a cat though xD
They basically take care of themselves, and the two I've had, have both been really affectionate, alway coming up to me for cuddles and sleep on my lap. (I've been very lucky with my cats).
First one dies, hit by a car when I was really young, and my last one developed mammarian cancer, which I noticed a little too late.
She got operated, and it came back stronger a year later. Had to put her down :'(

I admire the stoic nature of cats and their fierce independence. Retractable little finger knives just adds to their overall coolness

I'm sorry you guys had to endure that process btw. Such a bad joke from the universe cancer gets our pets as well as people.

The brutality of witnessing a pet get hit on the road too makes me cringe way more deeply than any human beheading vid. Never had one of mine hit but my old neighbors horse got out of a downed fence panel and got hit by a log truck.
Believe it or not, Bentley pulled through. If he wasnt such a tank of a horse I dont think it would have had a happy ending. The vet bills were criminally high but he healed up physically. Mentally hes slightly off. Hes been a vicious biter ever since. Got me a cpl times myself but I just wasnt quick enough to get away from him.

Well, I went into debt for the cost of the operation for my cat ... it was a literal no brainer for me. She needs care, I'll spend the money to provide the care she needed.
And indeed, I care way more about my pets than I do about someone getting killed.
And yes, I was 6 when I saw my first car get hit by the car. Oddly, I only remember the reaction of my parents when they came running out to see why I was crying like I was. And honestly, count it as a blessing that I don't remember the sight of it.

I dont blame you a bit. My kids leopard gecko got sick and despite the ridicule from certain family members, I took the damn thing to the vet immediately. Also criminally expensive but no regerts. Shes better.
When my chameleon dies you can find pics of my suicide here.
Pets are better than most people

And also omg at 6, yeah thats trauma.

When being robbed, be calm and collective, be empathized, you want to help the robber, say something like 'sure buddy, I'll help you, times are rough'
In the back of your head you want to rape their eye sockets with your thumbs, you want blood.
Distract them with the loot, catch an opening and rob them instead.

Kick in the groin, punch the throat, poke their eyes and always, I repeat, always break their jaw.
Get them on the floor and kick under the lower jaw, up to 10 times if you're wearing sneakers.
But be nice, he's living in rough times.

So yeah, that's my story.
If any of you have something to share, I'd love to read it.
Some idiot in the mid 80,s tried to get the drop on me whilst on a subway at 1AM in a city I won't mention. I had left work after a long day I thought would never end and finally it was over. I went to the liquor store and walked out with my black label and headed to the train as I was eager to get home and get some much needed rest when I noticed that I was being followed. I kept my cool and paid my fare and proceeded towards the train track area and
sat at my usual seat to wait until it's arrival. The station was desolate and it was just me and him. He kept his distance until the train arrived, door opened and as I walked in my hand tightened on my 38 revolver as I waited for the inevitable. Once I felt his arm come around my neck I quickly turned around and popped him with a 158 grain slug under his chin exiting the rear top of his head. His knees buckled and at the same time I pushed him away as the doors closed and I sat down in my seat and went on my way. This is all I can say about this wonderful experience.

Yeah twice once in the mid 1990's walking back to my hotel when I visited Amsterdam and walking down Market St in Charleston SC back in I beleive 1999. I managed to resolve both situations without injury.

Black guy and a Mexican stole my SS trailblazer right outta my driveway-ten days before Christmas few years ago. Never got it back. Fuckn scum bags I hope they DIE Fuckn slow
