FYI What was your favorite toy?

Mine where fisher-price little people playset. Gijoe and he man sets.

I had a teddy ruxpin toy that bear gave me nightmares and scared the shit out of me as a kid. I remember that thing turning on in the Middle of night telling me a story scaring me to the point where I grab teddy and threw him off the balcony and straight in the pool. My grandparents were angry. To this day I never hear the end of the story.

I have too many to list on one page, but some memorable ones were a stuffed kangaroo made from actual kangaroo skin and fur LOL that when you wind it up it played Waltzing Matilda, but I liked to overwind it cos it made a weird purring sound when the spring stretched and it sent me to sleep. I also loved a little plastic E.T extra Terrestrial that had a light in its chest and on the tip of his finger. My sister and I had Micronaught figures with space ships, they were like the ACME Cheapo version of Star Wars but now they're very collectible and worth thousands - shame my stupid mother threw it all away during her bitter divorce , I loved that stuff. I also loved a glow in the dark skull that had a trigger on its neck so when you squeezed it the mouth would open up and you could make it say shit in the dark and scare your friends. Ha ha I could fill this whole page up with stuff!

My most memorable toy was a boglin like a hand puppet monster it's eyes glowed and there was a trigger inside that made its eyes move left n right and my guitar, also lego, the michael keaton batmobile,my bike,a sega master system, an amstrad cpc464, gameboy, hot wheels tracks, hundreds of boardgames, man I even had a womble think it was Tobermorey.......umm mainly tho I was outside climbing trees building dens and playing footy with my friends ooooooh and rollerskating but not blades actual 4 wheeler skates........umm yeah that pretty much covers it, shit i forgot i had the optimus prime with trailer that's worth a fuck ton now

The Robin Hood (Kevin Costner) action figures. I had every single one including the play sets and vehicles. I spent hundreds of hours reenacting "movie scenes" which was ironic because I wasn't allowed to even see that film until years later. My parents thought it was too violent and would scare me. They were right. That witch, Mortianna, scared the shit out of me...

I had a massive my little pony castle. But I was a Tom boy a few years later. So i had transformers, a remote controlled car too..

@girl101
I.used to LOVE the cartoon Teddy Ruxpin. 😍🥰
Did you watch Dogtanian??
My friends used to always call it Teddy Fuck-spin and no matter if you heard that a bazillion times they kept saying it anyway like as if you never heard it before.

I really wanted the Field of dreams block set but it never had any figures ... the box just said "If you build it , they will come" ! :shrug:

My very first memories of toys - I was only three or four, and I was enjoying running around with a pair of foam Hulk fists. I remember playing with big blocks, not the Legos but the one that's ten times larger or so than the Lego blocks (I'll point this out to my ma then tell her thanks for not getting the little ones as I'd surely try eating it, chunky little fucker), and I remember playing Mario Kart 64.

Hot Wheels were also a thing for my cousins and I, we even had a track that was kind of interactive to the extent that a Hot Wheels track would be interactive when it came out in the 90s.

Eventually, GI Joes.

Ended up playing a lot of StarCraft and Command and Conquer as I grew out of adolescence.

I had a Spiderman action figure based on Toby Maguire's first film, my nephew recently ended up with that.

Now my toys can kill, and it's time to help him find things he'll enjoy as much as I did.
