Looks MUCH better than the hospital veg mystery curry which could have passed for a plate of dog sickA curry can’t remember if I posted it and some bacon and egg pies I made.

Homemade or mcdees?

What's wrong with Mcdonalds?! Apart from being addictive, fattening and bad for your health? It's tasty.Burger, eggs, Bread, milk coffee. Why a plastic spoon and paper plate? You dont wash the dishes?
Do you use condiments? Ketchup for eg?thanks!
i never eat mcdees. no fast food for my ass. yuk...
idky it cooked like that. maybe because i cooked the sausage when i cooked the taters. this way the grease from the sausage, was used as the oil for the taters. i try to cook as oil/grease free as possible.
only black pepper mostly. ddnt any salt, because i used butter in the pan. and butter has salt. im not one for salt on my food. im a pepper fan.Do you use condiments? Ketchup for eg?
I miss cooking my own meals. In my flat I only have a electric hob and oven which takes ages to get to temp then overheats then takes ages to cool down. Not like gas which is instant. I put stuff in the oven but don't use the hobs. They are rusty now. I cooked a sirloin steak in the oven a few weeks ago. It was absolutely a waste. I still ate the dry choking brow 'meat'. I use my microwave a lot. I was basically living off oats, bananas, creatine, nesquick, protein powder and milk smoothies/protein shakes for a few months. They are nice. I'm not working out at present so I'm not having them right now. Put it all in a blender, done! Hardly any washing up.only black pepper mostly. ddnt any salt, because i used butter in the pan. and butter has salt. im not one for salt on my food. im a pepper fan.
as for ketchup,i wasnt in the mood for any. i can take it or leave it with my eggs.
ever try using a hot plate then? i had one when i rented out a room in a house once. it came with microwave. but them meals suck too. so i bought a hot plate (which wasnt allowed but i did it anyway.) and it was so much easier. gave me a lil more freedom to cook what i wanted. because trying to cook pasta in the microwave isnt all that... lolI miss cooking my own meals. I do really want to make my own food again tho, I miss it.
I should get one. I've wanted a slow cooker for a while. They use hardly any electric and it's just a case of sticking all the ingredients in and leave it till its done. I can make a good panacalti(?) Don't know if that's the correct spelling. Corned beef, leeks, carrots, potatoes are the main ingredients I believe. Then a gravy/sauce and whatever other veg you have laying around. It's eaten with crusty bread and butter. A big pan can last a week. I've not made it in years. I'm pretty good at curry but terrible at rice. I get the microwave packets which can be cheap but are quite small. I followed a recipe for a pork and pineapple curry once. I made it incredibly hot and spicy so when my mouth would burn I'd have a chunk of pineapple. I got a full one from the market instead of a tin. That's probably the best meal I've ever made. I was the only one to eat it so I don't know if it would have appealed to anyone else. A rice cooker would be a good investment. I've tried to cook rice in a microwave before...
