Doesn't look like she's feeding you enough whT is that 3 bites? Lol
Does look good though
It was just a little ramekin to taste. It turned out really good. I doubled up all the veg and meat so it's very hearty. I love ham soups!

I have a bunch of tomatoes from Mom's garden so am going to try making cream of tomato soup today. I don't know what Campbell's have done with their tom soup but it tastes like shit now, I want something that tastes like tomatoes.

Make extra on my way

Homemade ricotta ravioli with pesto and Asiago.
The difference between homemade ravioli and industrial ones is abysmal, no matter how good the latter are. Near my house there is a business that makes "homemade" ravioli; in order to buy them you have to reserve them about 15 days in advance...

We at home too back then. To hot meals there was often a blob of quark on the edge of the plate, similar to the Greeks with their Tzatziki (great, cools/refreshes your mouth). Or with tiny onion cubicles, chives, salt and pepper for a sandwich.
Quark with 20% cream and fruits + a shot milk was a nice dessert.
Interesting you make the comparison to tzatziki. I like it, also like cottage cheese, kefir and most real yogurts (not that sickly sweet garbage with the "fruit" on top or bottom)......but I can't stand quark. Granted its been 30ish years since I've ate it last so maybe I shouldn't be such a bonehead and try it again.
