FYI What's The One Thing You Hate About Your Job

I like my job, it's what I went to school for. But the one thing I hate is the quarterly report I got today from the COO and CFO showing details of how much revenue I generate per patient visit, where I rank among the other docs in billable services and other stupid financial information.

They never tell me how to practice but give hints like showing how much more profitable it is to dispense Naproxen vs Motrin. I don't like country music or know who this guy is but he sums up my feelings towards the senior administrators

1. Middle managers - they are constantly trying to justify their positions, usually that they aren’t very good at anyway but came into it bc they’re pcs of shit and racked up the most seniority in the level below them

2. Telephone calls - like seriously, I’m going to document and have you confirm what we discussed on the phone in an email anyway… why don’t we just start there
