I've always had Central A/C. When I lived in Arizona it was a mandatory thing. Here in Texas, it depends on where you live and how much money you have. In the poor areas, you see the window units.

I'm getting Solar Panels installed on my roof next week so I can actually be somewhat energy efficient.
