In South-Western Ontario it is fricking cold and windy (winds coming in off of Lake Ontario)...but no snow, which is good.
Hamilton is made up of two parts: Up the Mountain and Down the Mountain. The two are divided by an huge old-assed dinosaur age escarpment. So we have 4 roads (or, cuts as we call them) that let us travel up and down.
So I go up the Mountain earlier today, car is running okay, and I get my youngest into the orthodontist to have her braces removed. Then we go to my oldest daughter's place to visit her and my grandson. No probs...all is good.
But before rush hour (lol) hits I want to head to the ATM at the bank. Sweet, done deal and I get my moola. Problem is my car coughs and burps and then won't start. I sit there, not believing that I am in this mother busy parking lot and my battery is dead. I didn't even bring my jacket with me.
Temps continued to go down as the winds picked up and although I had called the CAA I was freezing in my car.
It's still cold, and windy and while my son-in-law drove me back Down the Mountain (and no, we don't use caps on these terms) to my apartment my stupid car is still sitting in a parking lot Up the Mountain.
Oh, weather, yes...uh it's supposed to warm up by the weekend...

No real weather here today, as usual. Just cold, around 0°C. Rats have moved back from the park to the trash-can housing and are waiting for junkfood.
